Is that stupid or what?!

I'm sorry it has been so long, but life has been busy and I haven't been feeling well. I am just now getting over a stomach virus from this Friday. Boy was that horrible!!! This week is hectic! Not only are we having banchmarks all week, but since i made the basketball team, we have to stay and practice until 5:00 every day!! It is starting to get ridicuously(i spelled that wrong) tedious. And if we cant make it to practice, we have to run 4 five-in-thirties. You have to run across the court 5 times in under thirty seconds. I usually make it in 33 seconds or so, but that is because i am lazy. Since cross country ended, I haven't been running, so I have gotten slow. Even my mom noticed that yesterday at our game, which we lost. So back to the five-in-thirties.I am going to miss 30 minutes of practice tomorrow for a choir practice. Even if it is for school things like that, we still have to run!!! Is that stupid or what?! Sorry, Im just blabbing. Any thoughts?

Checking Up

So today was a pretty laid-back day at the mouse's house. Went to school, basketball practice until 5:00, homework, blog, dinner, shower, bed. That is how my day is going/has been. I'm super excited about tomorrow. So, right now you are probably asking yourself "What happens tomorrow?", but fear not, cause I'm about to tell you!. First of all, it is Friday!!!, Second, no basketball practice. Third, my best friend is coming over!!! Last but not least, football!!!!!!!! We get to drive my friend to and from the game! Sorry that it's a short blog today.

Have A Happy Friday!!!!

Men and Shoes-what a Comparison!!!

So I've been thinking lately, and I have come to the conclusion that boys are like shoes. There are some that are just the right fit, and others that just don't feel right. Once you find a good one, you never want to let it go or take it off until it makes your feet ache. In this, case it makes your heart ache. But there is that one pair that is the perfect match. I talked to Josh, and he deleted my friends numbers from his phone. He respected my wish, however it took a carrot and stick to get it done. Things are much better between us, and we are both happy. Thanks to all for believing that I can make A team. The coach has decided, and there is only one spot left on the A team. I am not sure if I want that spot, however. Why make A team if you will get very little playing time? Why not just stick with B team and actually get some playing time? This is what I find myself asking. I will keep this and all of you on my mind!

Breath of Fresh Air

Thanks for all the wonderful comments i got from those following my blog. I found out today that he is still texting my friends, but he says he wants to tell me something very serious, so i have my fingers crossed. So anyway, our school is holding basketball tryouts for those who made it past the first cut, which i did. Our practice tomorrow will determine if we make "A" or "B" team. I hope to make "A" team, but i assume that i will make "B" team. Fingers also crossed... Life at school has gotten so much better. I have twice the friends I'd thought to have ever had. My teachers are very nice and i have adjusted to life there well. It is muck easier than it started out.

Actually having a good week. Love Always, Mouse :) <3

Honey, I Strangled My Boyfriend...

Have you ever heard the saying, "honey, I shrunk the kids"? Well, its sort of the same way here. So, I have my boyfriend, Josh. He has been flirting with my friends (a little). Okay, you might already be saying, "dump him" but i really want this to last. So anyways, i told him to quit texting my friends, no biggie. He quit for a while, but now he has gotten very demanding. My friend informed me just this Sunday that he had tried to text her 16 times!!! 16 times!!!! My other friend told me he had tried to text her too, and that he had even sent her a text that said, "You know you like me". Am I the only one who sees a problem here?!!?? Should I commit to someone stepping all over me and fake a smile every day just to make him happy? I think I deserve better... Sometimes you have to move to the beat of your heart, even when it is filled with hopes and dreams, that can later become fears and sorrows. I don't know which path to take, life was easier before boys.

thanks 2 all 4 reading my blog!!!

Creepy!!!!!

wow, has it been a long time or what?!?!! A lot of changes have happened recently. Cross country has ended and basketball tryouts are underway. School has evolved into a much better place to go, now that i have many more friends. Also, my appearance has evolved a little too. My hair is a little shorter in the front, with layers that look awesomely cute!

So, enough about my looks. You know what creeps me out- like a WHOLE lot? When in the halls, i pass a kid from ISS (in school suspension). I only know who they are because My friend bought a shirt from the lady that sells them. This lady just happens to be in charge of the ISS kids. What freaks me out the most is i wonder why they stare at everyone. Their eyes pierce you like a dagger, then you walk away and shudder. These people can also be seen flirting(and cussing) with the gangster girls. (the boys at least!) These are the same people you see walking with their pants at their ankles, thinking they are cool. To sum it up, i just think they need to step it up and be more responsible. Hey, they wouldn't be so bad if they didn't get ISS. It makes me wonder why they are in there...

Our Zoo...

Have i ever mentioned that living with 9 dogs is a pain in the ...? Not only do we have our six, but three that came from my grandmother, who recently passed away. She wanted her pets to go to someone who she could trust to take as good a care of them as she did. Trying to take them all out to potty is horrible. Dogs scattered all around the lawn is hard to keep track of, especially when you are by yourself. And the dog hair, oh the dog hair... Its horrible. If we don't vacuum every once and a while, the house looks like a friggin' jungle! Half of our dogs are white, so it shows up on anything and everything. The worst thing about having 9 inside dogs is the poo and pee all through the house. Everywhere you look, another pile or puddle. I seldom wear socks anymore, because every time i do, they get pee on them. One last thing that could compare to the potty everywhere would be the barking. We come home and it sounds like the zoo! From high pitched barks to deep, masculine barks, we have it all!

Puppies

I feel like talking about puppies today, so i guess I will discuss puppies. Aren't they cute!?! Even a few years ago when they had the "World's Ugliest Puppy" it was cute. Why do we call some puppies ugly? Isn't that just like telling our children they are ugly? We would never do that, but we criticize puppies like they are nothing. They are living, breathing things, and that's how we should treat them. Why do we abuse puppies also? We throw people who beat their children in jail, but just shrug our shoulders at those who abuse sweet, harmless puppies. There should be some sort of punishment for doing this. This keeps my head spinning...

What Kind of Children Are We?

What kind of children are we? Most of us treat our parents like crap, talking back, hitting, even saying cuss words to them. These are the people who made us, why treat them like they don't matter? This just doesn't make sense to me. Without our parents, we wouldn't even be here. They discipline us because they love us. Any thoughts?

Whats The Deal?

So today we had our choir regional competition. I expected to do relatively bad, but my results surprised me. I got in the bottom 10 out of 53. My place was like 48th. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Hello? what's the deal here?! 48th??!!! Ugh, that sucks. I should have gone to the cross country meet that was scheduled for today. I would have done better...

Marriage- It's Going Around School

Well all my friends (all girls) last week decided to get married. Many of the girls around school are walking around saying "i do" to any girls they can find. At first I thought it was stupid, but once i got married a few times, it actually became kind of fun. And then, the girls started having "babies". They would go around campus asking people if they could have their baby. This was also a little odd, until I had my first son with my friend.(i got stuck with the daddy position. She cooks and cleans, I get to teach him football:)) His name is Jake. Then a girl came around, whom we named Amber. I didn't know someone who is imaginary can actually make me laugh. Now our babies are doing fine. What an odd year it has already started to become.

I'm starting to get the hang of this diaper thing Jake's got going on...

J.R.

So, a few years back, at my old school,I met a boy whom I will Call J.R.(initials) Well, i gave him my phone number and now that he has a cell phone, he has been texting me. The other day we got into a relatively deep conversation. My mom just kept pushing me too text him awkward things. It was embarrassing!! Now he keeps sending me pics of his guitar and him and his sister. Its kinda weird. What is it with boys anyways? Girls are usually so polite and quiet, but boys aren't afraid to fart in public or burp in someones face. Don't get me wrong, there are some good men out there, but what gives?

Benchmarks= horrible

Wow! Is this weather nice or what? The cold front has not only brought in cooler temperatures, but also brought snow up in the panhandle region. I wish it would snow down here.

So ,despite these nice temperatures, this week is going to suck. All week, we are taking benchmarks. This is my week schedule

Monday-holiday
Tuesday-Reading benchmark
Wednesday-Math benchmark
Thursday-Texas History/science benchmark
Friday-Vocabulary benchmark

i am worried about doing bad on them. I know math will be easy, and probably science, but what about the rest? I know i will do better than some people in the class, but not others. I am just going to go out there and do my best, however good or bad that may be.

Hang in there this week...

Lets Play Some Football!!!

So tonight's the blackout game at our school, and I am soooo ready. Time to get out of the house. Both our Middle school and High school bands are performing. I hope they sound good together, which of course they will. I wish the weekend goes by slowly, especially because Monday is a holiday for us. On Tuesday-Friday we are having benchmarks-practice TAKs tests. :( No fun for us...

Have a good Friday...

Party!!!

Sorry its been so long, it has been a busy week. But tomorrows Friday and I'm gonna PARTY!!! tomorrow is our blackout game at the school, and the stands are going to look awesome! I am happy also that there is no cross country this weekend, so i don't have to run. That's sweet. As u can probably tell, it has been a pretty good week- much better than last. And i actually feel pretty good, other than an occasional headache. How has your week been?

Football Players- What's with 'em?

What is it with football players? Why do so many of them do unlawful things? yes, there are some out there who are totally awesome, take Brett Favre and Peyton Manning for example. These are two great guys who are just in it for the fun of the sport. However, so many of our football players today are doing horrible things. Michael Vick was sent to jail for illegally fighting dogs. And Ben Worthlessburger (i know I spelled that wrong) who was suspected of raping a hotel worker. Why should we give them shorter jail time? what makes them so special that they can override the law? Any comments?

Elvis

Those of you who know Elvis, our dog, know that he is a slobber machine. You can't walk through the house without getting watery slobber all over your feet. Gross! And the farts... Oh jeese those stink!!! It makes you want to hurl. However, he can be a great dog at times. Besides the time he tried to bite me... Or the time he drank out of the toilet...Other than that, he is a great dog. He is very protective, and it makes me feel good knowing that I am protected with him around. All of you should get an English Mastiff...

Catching Up

Hey and sorry I didn't blog yesterday. Anyways, i did okay at the cross country meet. I got 25th out of like 70 people. That's one better than last time, with a few more people mixed in. The boys and girls ran together. I beat a lot of the boys. That makes me happy. Also, at the band competition, our high school did great, so woohoo to them. Great going guys!!! Show some team spirit.
My grandma would have been so happy to see my sister perform. She was just that kind of person. It makes me wonder what she's doing right now. She also would have loved to see me run today. She would have been proud. i love you TT!

Hang in there, Love Always, Mouse :)

Its going to be a busy weekend. I have another cross country meet, this time in Floresville. My cat friend has two band meets. That's going to be hectic also. Not much to say today, just that I'm happy it's Friday.

EyeCandy

Wow, what an easy subject. I can go on and on just thinking about it. So many men out there are eye candy. Where to start... Well, Keith Urban obviously is hot. Joe Jonas and Matthew mcCaunahey (I know I spelled that wrong :)) aren't bad either. Who else? Some random guys on the street can even be cute. You have to keep your eyes peeled. trust me, I keep a look out for those guys. And those men in magazines. Even when they're posing they look genuine and hot. I don't look for the shirtless ones, no, not me, I'm not the type ;). Who do you think is hot? c'mon, spill!

Keeping an eye out, Love Always, Mouse :)

thoughts

Hey and welcome back. Just another Monday at the mouse's house. Why do we need Mondays? To get us to Tuesdays? Why are Tuesdays so important? Ugh, why can't it just be Friday? Anyways, what are your thoughts on women's abortion rights? Why do we criticize their decisions if it doesn't even affect us? We should let them choose what they think is best for the child, whether it may be to have the child, or get an abortion. This just doesn't make sense to me. I can see, however, where people see differently. They think about what is best for the child. I just think we should leave them alone and let it be their decision. Yes, adoption is a great way to turn to, but is it the answer? women can't be comforted by the thought of having the baby adopted right away. what are your thoughts?

Angels

Sorry I didn't blog last night. I was exhausted from a cross country meet I ran in yesterday. Out of about 60 people, I got 26th place. Not bad for my first time. I could have quit, but I chose to keep running, no matter how tired i felt, or how bad I couldn't breathe. Its the same way in life. You cant give up, just keep pushing through the pain. A line in Rodney Adkins song, "Going Through Hell" says "If you're going through hell, keep on moving, face that fire, walk right through it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there." I love this line. to me, it means just keep going. You never know who is an angel holding out a hand to pull you back up on your feet. Be careful, you never know who that angel might be...

Life

Hey, so today I went to the doctor. Turns out I only have a sinus infection. I have to take nasty medicine, but it works really well. I haven't coughed in the past ten minutes. Hey, it has to start somewhere. Tonight we are going to a football game with my parents. My sissy's in the band. She plays really well, and the band marches all around the field, making marvelous designs of people.(not to mention the eye candy of the football players ;) ) Go Team!!!
Tomorrow we have a cross country meet. I am going to run my heart out and try to come in first place. I know my grandma will be up there rooting me on every second of the race, smiling down from above. All my friends are going and we are going to have a great time, even if we don't win. We can still get the team participation award, which would be cool.
School is going better. I like all my teachers , especially my Texas History teacher. I was mad at him today though, when he gave a quiz, but I think i did relatively good. He calls me the best person in the class.Probably because the test we took a few days ago, I got a 100 on.my average is the highest! My friends joke around that I actually care about school. One day, when i have my own business, they will be wishing they were more like me and actually paid attention in class. (when they are flipping burgers at sonic)

Changes

So today was a better day. I took a different medication, and it is controlling my cough better.Goodness, this weather has been nice. The slight breeze gives it the finishing touches.I am going to the doctor tomorrow, maybe I'll get some prescriptions and be able to feel better even faster! :) that makes me happy.
So school has been okay, but it could be better. I just don't seem to fit in quite yet. I don't know all the latest fashions, and I don't wear converse and skinny jeans. My friends tend to ignore me until I speak up and say something. They will be giggling quietly and when I ask what was so funny, they just say, "oh, nothing". I know someday I will be able to hang out with them with no issues. I usually just hang out by myself or with my friend Kathrine*Maybe tomorrow will be an even better day, just think its Friday!

BRRRRRR....

Wow, its actually raining here in Texas today! Its chilly and I'm so excited. It finally feels like fall. One drawback, this is not helping my health. Besides the cough and sore throat, I now get dizzy at times. Just great. Anyone else out there feel as crappy as I do? Its horrible. On to a lighter subject. I like Keith Urban. He's majorly HOT, and has the voice of an angel.I've listened to his new CD, Defying Gravity, like a thousand times now. It has some great music and some touching lyrics. Some of the songs really hit home when it comes to how i feel inside. No, Kiss A Girl is not one of them... Its nice to know someone out there whom I have never even met feels the same way that I do. Isn't that amazing? Everyone in this world is different, but we can come together as one to fight these feelings from within. This makes me wonder...

Seriously? Why me?

"I can't stop coughing, my shoes are all muddy, I'm cold, I'm wet, I ache, and I flunked a test because of stupid mistakes," were the first words my mom heard when I got in the car today. Have you ever had one of those days? You just want to curl up under a rock and sleep til' its all gone. Not to mention I had just ran about a mile with a sore throat, struggling for air the whole time. I have the flu, and I'm running a fever. Whoop-de-doo.
Why must life test us in ways we can't seem to imagine? I found myself asking,"why me?", why today?". I feel sometimes we just need to let go and laugh about things. Life throws curve balls, and we need to learn how to swing. These were words of wisdom I learned from my grandma, TT.

Welcome to the Mouse's House

I'd like to welcome u all to my house. Its been a rough few months, but things are starting to heal, and wounds are starting to close. My very close friend, my grandma passed away this summer. She spent her last few months surrounded by the ones who loved her. I feel now she is where she was begging to be all along, with her son and husband up in the streets of gold. The doctors refused to listen to her and my mom when she told them she just wanted to go home. I read a story today about her and her last few days on earth, and it depresses me to know she is gone, but comforts me to know she is happy. I know soon, things will begin getting easier to cope with as this long journey comes to a close.
Ever wondered where people go when they die? I do. Is there really another world out there, or do they just vanish and their souls wander this earth forever? Maybe there is paranormal activity out there somewhere. What about all those pets that have died too? Sorry, I don't like the word die, passed on. I know I've had a few. Is there a doggie heaven? Oh well, guess I'll have to wait and see.

Just another crappy day at the mouse's house-Love Always, Mouse
