So, a few years back, at my old school,I met a boy whom I will Call J.R.(initials) Well, i gave him my phone number and now that he has a cell phone, he has been texting me. The other day we got into a relatively deep conversation. My mom just kept pushing me too text him awkward things. It was embarrassing!! Now he keeps sending me pics of his guitar and him and his sister. Its kinda weird. What is it with boys anyways? Girls are usually so polite and quiet, but boys aren't afraid to fart in public or burp in someones face. Don't get me wrong, there are some good men out there, but what gives?
Love Always, Mouse :)

Okay....I never forced you to send him awkward things other than the comment about the tight ends having good hands and even that wasn't you being forced. JR is a very polite young man and he has some great skills when it comes to being smooth I tell you what! When he told you that you were prettier than ever - you couldn't just not respond. That is very rude and I have raised you better than that. I know you well enough to know that if you didn't like JR you would just flat out tell him. It is very sweet how you two have stayed in touch even though you haven't been in the same school for almost 2 years now. Someday you will appreciate those kind of friends and relationships and like I said the other day...who knows....maybe JR is your happily ever after. Stranger things have happened....and if it doesn't play out that way I have no doubt that you and JR will always be friends.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of good guys out there and from the sound of it you have found one in JR. Your mom is a good mom I am sure what ever she suggested you send was tame. Not all boys are loud and out going, just like not all girls polite and quiet. Sometime, not long from now you and those loud boys will find common ground. Talk to JR, have fun and don't worry about anything but what a good friend he is.
