Jealousy

School is coming along great, and I am really enjoying all of my classes, which brings me to my topic: jealousy. I know what you are thinking, how in the world do these 2 topics go together? well I'll explain...

The past few weeks, my Texas History teacher has been stressing how hard we need to study to keep up in this unit. Well, last Thursday was our test. The night before, I studied for over 2 hours! The time to take the test came along, and as I answered the questions and turned in my paper I figured I was destined to fail. I got glances from my teacher, assuring my feeling I was going to fail. As he read off the grades, I was ecstatic to learn I had made a 97! I tied with another boy for the highest score so far. When he showed me which one I missed, my heart sank. I had had the right answer but I changed it to the wrong answer. Well, sorta. It was multiple choice. I had the wrong answer, changed it to the right answer, but then changed it back to the wrong answer!!! I was still happy that a made a 97, just shrugging off the one question until I learned my friend made a perfect 100. That could have been me!! I know friends shouldn't be jealous of their friends, but COME ON!!! SERIOUSLY!!! I'm just disappointed thats all...

Love Always, Mouse <3 :)

  1. It is hard to not be a little jealous when our friends do better than us. Just remember, you would want them to be happy for you so turn about is fair play. Be happy for your friend and let her know she did a great job. Plus, you have no reason to be disappointed. You did your best and studied hard. There will be many times when you make the top grade in the class. The most important thing is that you learn the material. Grades are good but if you don't learn anything then they are useless.

  2. Just be you....like I told you the other day....friends won't gloat and be ugly...so don't put up with them being that way to you but...in turn don't be that way with them either.

    XOXO
